Some Tea in your Steam For a Killer Glow

Steaming your skin has some awesome benefits:

It opens up your pores to flush out toxins.

Loosens blackheads and whiteheads.

Improves blood circulation.

Gives a healthy glow.

Makes your serum and moisturizer absorb deeper into your skin, making it more effective.

Green tea contains a lot of anti oxidants which fights dullness and gives you a glowing face. Just add a bag of green tea into hot water and then see it do its magic.

Steps to do it Right

Boil a small pot of water on the stove. 

Pour freshly boiled water to the bowl and add the green tea bag. Allow to brew and cool for five minutes. Drape the towel over your head, holding your face about 30 centimetres away from the bowl to trap the steam.

PS: Do it atleast twice a week for a glow that is hard to miss

Make Your Own Glow Mask

All you need are a few ingredients that you will easily find in your kitchen


Gram flour – ½ tsp.

Fuller’s Earth – ½ tsp.

Sandalwood – ½ tsp.

Turmeric – ¼ tsp.

Rosewater – ½ tsp.

Milk – ½ tsp.

Lime/Orange juice – ¼ tsp

Directions to use:

Mix all these ingredients and apply over your cleansed face. Gently massage it into your skin using tiny circular movements. Leave it on to dry for 10 minutes. Then wet it slightly and once again, gently massage it to loosen it. Rinse off.

Tip: If you have dry skin, add ½ tsp honey to the mix for a shot of hydration.

Use Vitamin C Beauty Products

Vitamin C helps in getting rid of spots and marks. It is also known as a natural bleach thus brightening your skin to give it a healthy glow. It also helps your skin get protection under the sun and also corrects pigmentation. 

So whenever you are buying skin care and beauty products make sure that it has Vitamin C as one of the main ingredients.
